A memorable last day in Tokyo

We found Hideki to be a very organised, informative, excellent guide showing us parts of Tokyo we hadn’t seen before n experienced cuisine we hadn’t tried before..

I did this with my brother on our first day of our amazing Japan trip and were so glad we did! Our friend for the day, Hide, was the nicest and knowledgeable guide we could have ever asked for.

Some of my favorite pictures of the trip were i the various spots we chose. Hide if you read this we can't thank you enough for giving us the best note to start off the best two weeks we could have imagined on :).

My partner and I recently did a 6-hour day tour with Hide , and it was fantastic. He was incredibly informative, sharing insights and stories we never would have discovered on our own.

Despite the weather—on and off heavy rain—it was still a really worthwhile experience. Hide took us to places we wouldn’t have otherwise found, and we walked away with a much deeper appreciation for Tokyo.

He came highly recommended by another couple, and he absolutely lived up to the praise. We’re so grateful for the experience and can’t recommend Hide highly enough.

We had an amazing day with Hide who showed and explained the culture and history (old and new) of everything Japanese.

It was evident that Hide has a deep knowledge of Japan’s history which was delivered in an enthusiastic and engaging way.

The Sushi lunch was a major hit with us which we would thoroughly recommend.

You will see and experience so many different things on this tour it’s hard to tell them all. As an added bonus Hide showed us how to navigate the trains, buses, vending machines, etc especially using an electronic IC card. If you are new to Japan and Tokyo, as we were, this is a must do Day 1 tour.

Even if you have been to Japan you will discover interesting areas and facts that will make your trip a delight.

Thank you for making such great memories of Japan for us.

Today was incredible, your knowledge, your warmth and your patience made the day very memorable.

We got to do things that we will never forget and the picture from the master puppeteer was just lovely.

We are now back in the hotel enjoying a beer and planning our day tomorrow.

We very much enjoyed our time with you !
It was a wonderful introduction to Tokyo and also the history of Japan.
You are very knowledgeable and also a great communicator.

So nice to get so many wonderful photos.
Normally we do not have many with both of us so this is a real treat and a very nice memory of all the things that we saw.

Hideki was an exemplary tour guide who arrived promptly at our hotel and provided a clear and thoughtful introduction to the day’s itinerary.

The tour itself was comprehensive, informative, and engaging throughout, made even more memorable by Hideki’s personal insights, local knowledge, and warm conversation.

As this was our very first full day in Japan, his guidance was invaluable — without his help we would never have successfully navigated the trains, buses, and walking routes, and it may well have led to the onset of divorce proceedings! 😂

We also greatly appreciated the carefully chosen meal and refreshment stops, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy authentic local food and experience Japan in a far more genuine way.

In summary, this was a truly outstanding tour, made exceptional by Hideki’s professionalism, kindness, and friendly nature.

Having experienced many guided tours around the world, we can genuinely say this was the very best.

We had an amazing time with Hide. His tour has definitely been the highlight of our holiday so far. We really appreciated the way he explained the history of the Emperors and Shogunates in Edo, the coexistence of Shinto and Buddhist religions, the culture of the "Eddoko", and even the Tokyo-Osaka rivalry - all while letting us enjoy some very delicious food.
Thank you also for the helpful information about things to do in Ginza. It was a wonderful first full day in Japan, and we truly enjoyed every moment.
